6510 Control Base
The 6510 is a solid, bronze and stainless steel base for mounting control heads onto, allowing for switches, indicator lights or other button-based functionality to be added to a stand-alone control head. The 6510 is available with either 4 or 6 switch configurations.
The 6510 is compatible with the 6515, 6523, 6545 and 6555 control heads. Photo shown is of a 6510 base with a 6555 control head mounted.
6511 Control Base
The 6511 control base is a solid, bronze and stainless steel base for mounting control heads onto, allowing for switches, indicator lights or other button-based functionality to be added to a stand-alone control head. The 6511 is available with a 6 switch configurations and has an alarm built into the base.
The 6511 is compatible with the 6515, 6523, 6545 and 6555 control heads. Photo shown is of a 6511 base with a 6555 control head mounted.
Kobelt also produces alarm panels with part number 6511, be sure to clarify that the control base is required along with a control head, rather than a basic alarm panel.
6511-SP – Small Switch Panel
The 6511-SP series of small switch panels are primarily used for station selection, but can be used for any application that requires switching or indicators of this nature.
The 6511-SP series is available in water tight version, and allows for up to 6 switches or lamps. The photo shown is of a 6 switch panel.
6511-TP – Telegraph Panels
The 6511-TP series of telegraph panels allow for communication between the wheelhouse and the engine room. The 6511-TP panels are available in single and dual configurations, and can be integrated into any Kobelt electronic control system.
The photo shown is of a dual configuration model.
6512 Control Base
The 6512 control base is a solid, bronze and stainless steel base for mounting control heads onto, allowing for switches, indicator lights or other button-based functionality to be added to a stand-alone control head. The 6512 also has an LED strip that allows for indicators on running position and a 4 line digital readout. The 6512 comes with a dimmer function, and is available with up to 12 switches.
The 6512 is compatible with the 6515, 6523, 6545 and 6555 control heads. Photo shown is of a 6512 base with a 6555 control head mounted.
6515 – Triple Handle Electronic Control Head
Triple handle electronic control head for 3 engines or multiple configurations & functionality.
The 6515 is one of the only triple handle configuration electronic control heads on the market, capable of managing 3 separate engines for marine propulsion applications. The 6515 can be mounted on a control base.
The 6515 is water tight from the top side, but it is not hermetically sealed, and as such should not be used in harsh environments. The 6515 is available in bronze, chrome and black finishes.
6524 – Electronic Actuator
The 6524 actuator allows for actuation of marine clutches, throttles, trolling valves, controllable pitch propeller mechanisms and other marine & industrial applications.
The 6524 is a robust, bronze and stainless steel device, with 90 lbs. of torque and is equipped with manual disconnect capabilities, unique to Kobelt actuators. The 6524 comes with two levers for 2 functions. The lever allows for manual disengage, as well as overstroking without damage to the drive train.
6525 Electronic Propulsion Control System
The 6525 Electronic Propulsion Control System is a sophisticated propulsion control system that supports up to 8 stations and multiple engines.
Laptop programmable microprocessor for flexible options.
6525 System Microprocessor
6525 System microprocessor unit, installed in durable bronze case.
The 6525 Microprocessor acts as the central processor for the 6525 electronic control system. The processor accepts up to 8 control stations with only two communicating wires and can control two main propulsion engines and their respective reverse gears or CP propellers.
The 6525 processor also inputs the control of trolling valves, and provides all interlocking for regular propulsion systems, including propeller shaft brakes and throttle boosts.
The 6525 processor is programmed using a laptop, and is very flexible, capable of incorporating many different control heads, switches, panels, actuators and functionality.
6527 – Electronic Actuator
Robust, multi-engine electro-mechanical actuator for propulsion control.
The 6527 actuator is Kobelt’s top selling actuator, allowing for actuation of marine clutches, throttles, trolling valves, controllable pitch propeller mechanisms and other marine & industrial applications.
6528 – General Position Electronic Actuator
The 6528 is one of Kobelt’s most robust actuators, designed to handle heavy duty positioning functions. The 6528 has additional functionality over all other Kobelt actuators with a override for manual positioning, an electro-mechanical clutch arrangement to allow for return to centre / neutral start position and a resilient driven output shaft to allow for the motor to stop and wait for balance.
6531 – Electronic Actuator
The 6531 was designed to handle medium duty positioning functions. The 6531 has an internal electric disconnect clutch, and has an output shaft that allows for 90 degrees of rotation and a maximum torque of 150 in. lbs.
The 6531 comes with either a 12 or 24 volt DC motor and has a reduction gear of 200 to 1. The 6531 has a single lever, allowing for control of a single function.
